Terrence continues to talk about Janet, and Lila spaces out and then apologizes. Nettie comes over and tells Lila about how Derek tried to run his scam with the health inspector on them, but they paid the fine and hired Nettie’s brother instead of the contractor Derek demanded they use. George, Nettie’s husband and co-owner, won’t come say hello because he associates Lila with Derek. When Nettie leaves, Terrence asks why Adeena wasn’t at the wake.
